Immigration Evaluations
As part of my private practice, I assess people who need psychological evaluations for their immigration cases. I have been doing these evaluations since 2018.
How do Immigration Evaluations work?
Recently, I took a training with Georgia King, an expert in this field. These immigration evaluations are for different types of cases, like asylum, hardship, T Visa, U Visa, and VAWA.
Immigration Evaluations help the U.S. immigration authorities (such as USCIS, immigration courts, or attorneys) understand the mental health and human impact behind an immigration petition. They provide clinical, objective evidence about how a person’s psychological well-being is affected by immigration-related circumstances.
